An even bigger show! This is what to expect in the forthcoming Legends of Tomorrow Season 2. Rumor has it that the show will be expanding its cast members by adding another set of DC characters. The reports revealed that most of the new cast members will be joining the Justice Society of America (JSA).
According to a report of Movie News Guide, the new members of the series will be named soon as stated by Brandon Routh. New characters from another hit series Arrow will also be introduced in the show.
Routh bared that changes are set to occur once the series return to the small screens but he said these are nice fun changes. He even stressed that the developments are caused by the death of Vandal Savage. It should be remembered that the finale of the pilot season hinted that the Justice Society of America will be appearing in the upcoming installment.
Routh also spilled some beans about the appearance of Suits main character Patrick Adams as part of the JSA. According to the actor, the second season will highlight Adams? character in the TV series and more information about the JSA.
The actor then hinted that some characters of Arrow will also be joining them in the upcoming show. This is probably the gradual step taken by The CW for its plan to do a lot of crossovers.
He even shared that the series will be veering away from a lot of time travel, citing that they won?t be needing them to revisit different timelines just to catch Vandal Savage. According to him, the new season cost them little pressure compared to the first one, giving the cast members time to enjoy and bond with each other.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that JSA?s appearance in the second season will give Rip Hunter and his team another set of challenges.
The question now is what Adams? have that made him fit for a role in the Legends of Tomorrow Season 2. Speculations have it that he might be playing the role of Alan Scott, more known as Green Lantern, who is part of the JSA during the 1940s.
