Legend of Zelda Wii U Release Soon As Nintendo Skips Twilight Princess HD DLCs

By on

Now that The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD has been released on the Wii U, it seems like it?s back to work for the developers in Nintendo as they prepare Legend of Zelda Wii U. This is a Wii U title that fans have been waiting for for more than two years, with rumors stating that the anticipated game will come out this year.

Attack of the Fanboy confirmed that the company would now be focusing on Legend of Zelda Wii U, since Twilight Princess HD will not be getting any DLC. This is an understandable move since most Zelda games avoid DLCs, with the exception of Hyrule Warriors.

Remastered games in general don?t get DLCs, with most of them already having the previously released content. This can be seen in re-releases for current-gen consoles like DMC: Devil May Cry and Injustice: Gods Among Us.

There?s also the fact that Twilight Princess HD is already a lengthy adventure by itself. The game also has a Hero Mode for those who want a bigger challenge from the action RPG. The Ganondorf Amiibo makes the game even harder, with the addition of double damage that Link will take from foes.

News on Legend of Zelda Wii U has been slim, as fans only have the 2014 trailer of the game to look at. There are rumors that the game is slated to be a launch title for the new Nintendo console, which has been codenamed the NX. The original version of Twilight Princess did the same thing, serving as the farewell title to the Gamecube and a launch game for the Wii.

Legend of Zelda Wii U might also take a few elements from Twilight Princess and expound on them. A recent video stated that Twilight Princess was the start of something big, which will supposedly continue in the upcoming Wii U Zelda game.
