By on

It looks like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch version can be pre-ordered soon. Fans have been wondering when the heavily hyped Zelda game will be released. While that information still isn?t available, the fact that it’s probably available for pre-order soon is interesting.

According to?GoNintendo’s GameStop source, it seems like Nintendo is getting ready to hype up the long awaited Zelda game. GoNintendo states that Nintendo emailed GameStop, stating that Nintendo Switch merchandising would be sent soon. In addition to that, the email also stated that Breath of the Wild will soon be available for pre-order.

A Launch Title?

While it is coming to the Wii U, most fans will get The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch version. Ever since it was announced for both consoles, fans have been wondering if it will be a launch title. There have been various rumors suggesting that it would and wouldn?t be, so it?s hard to say.

However, with pre-orders for the game coming, that might increase its chances of being a launch title. We probably won?t know for sure until January when more details about the console is showcased. When a game can be pre-ordered, that usually means it will soon be available, though it can still be delayed.

Remain Skeptical

Before fans start getting too excited about the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch version, remember that this is just a rumor. While some rumors turned out to be true, others were false and left gamers in a heap of disappointment.

Fans will likely find out more in the upcoming Nintendo presentation that will highlight the new console/handheld hybrid. Aside from Breath of the Wild, fans are also expecting a brand new Super Mario game, along with a port for Skyrim. The rumored Pokemon Stars might be shown as well, but that hasn?t been made clear yet.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be coming to the Wii U and Nintendo Switch next year. When next year is still a mystery.
