Nintendo made a surprise with the Twilight Princess making an HD comeback. Though may not come as a surprise to some as there were rumors and leaks hinting of the Twilight Princess? return. And finally it was revealed that the game will indeed be heading to the Nintendo Wii U. In the recent Nintendo Direct, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess will be getting an HD remaster with updated character model and texture and there will be some new features to be added in the game.
Thought not completely specified, but the Twilight Princess HD will have a new Amiibo figure featuring the Wolf form of Link with Midna riding on top of him. It has also been revealed that some of the Legend of Zelda Amiibo characters from the Super Smash Bros. line-up will be compatible for the game, these include Link, Toon Link, Zelda, Sheik and Ganondorf can be used in Twilight Princess HD, though no details were explained on what bonus content will be earned. It was also noted that any progress saved on the Wolf Link Amiibo from Twilight Princess HD can be transferred to the upcoming Zelda Wii U game that is slated for a 2016 release.
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess was originally released for the Nintendo Gamecube and Nintendo Wii on 2006 and was praised by critics and gamers and was being dubbed as the best Zelda game ever created. With the announcement of the HD remaster, a special bundle package was also revealed for the Twilight Princess HD where it includes the game and the Wolf Link Amiibo, you can also preorder starting today and buyers will receive a special soundtrack as a preorder bonus. You can expect to see The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD to be available on your favorite game retail stores on March 4, 2016.
