While the wait for The Legend of Zelda Wii U continues to be a long one, Nintendo has kept fans excited about the franchise with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD next month. The company has since released a new video featuring an impressive-looking boss fight, showing just how good the game looks years later.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was originally released on the Gamecube and Wii, so the fact that the HD re-release looks great is a testament to the title?s stylized graphics. Of course, The Legend of Zelda HD also has a number of new features exclusive to the Wii U re-release, including Amiibo support.
A number of tweaks have also been made for the re-release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Players will be able to carry more than 1000 rupees and won?t have to collect as much Tears of Light. This is similar to the Wind Waker HD release, where players didn?t have to collect as many scrolls near the ending of the game, which was a difficult procedure back in the Gamecube version.
In the newest gameplay video for Legend of Zelda HD, Link takes on the Twilit Igniter Fyrus. According to WCCFtech, this is one of the first bosses that a player encounters in Twilight Princess and is a nice way to show off the game?s lighting effects.
Since it is one of the first bosses Link faces in the game, the green-clad hero has no problem taking Twilit Igniter Fyrus down. That being said, it is a nice spoiler-free video to show to the public, and it does a great job showing off the HD visuals that will be supported on the Wii U.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is currently scheduled for a March 4 release on the Wii U. Certain versions of the game will come with a Wolf Link Amiibo, which gives players access to an exclusive dungeon that can only be completed with Link in his wolf form.
