Naughty Dog is taking its time with the sequel, but contrary to their silence, there are rumors about its possible arrival. Is the Last of Us 2 confirmed and finally happening soon? When voice actor Nolan North previously mentioned that the developer has started brainstorming for the sequel, several evidence appeared to have confirmed the possible The Last of Us 2.
Naughty Dog’s Josh Scherr also mentioned the game out of the developers several other titles. This was during a streaming interview. Although he did not specifically say The Last of Us 2 was confirmed, the original title was mentioned right when fans were clamouring for the sequel. In his statement ?Scherr said ?All the facial animation in the Uncharted series was led up by Eric, here . . . and [on] the first The Last of Us. Uh, did I say the first The Last of Us?”
The Last of Us in 2018?
A report by GameNGuide mentioned that the possibility of The Last of Us 2 arriving in 2018 is in the books. Another revelation also pointed to developer Michael Knowland?s LinkedIn profile picture wherein, it featured the poster of The Last of Us game. Along with the image is a post that said ?prototyping the head sculpts.?
Unfortunately, Knowland is now working for Avalanche Studio where his project concentrates on ?Just Cause 3.? Since 2014, he severed ties with Naughty Dog where he previously worked on projects like ?The Last of Us? and ?Uncharted 4.? When the original title was launched in 2013, it was a success, and Knowland?s profile saying he worked with Naughty Dog until 2014 and indicated The Last of Us as one of his projects hinted that somehow, the sequel was under the impression of new development.
The Last of Us? horror survival theme made a statement when it topped the charts in 2013. The game is famous in regions particularly the United States, France, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Spain and Japan.
