Kuroko no Basuke, an anime which tells the tale of a seemingly ?normal? basketball player?Tetsuya Kuroko?and his skilled partner in crime, Kagami Taiga, has made the headlines time and again. It ought to?with similarities to an equally popular manga and its predecessor, Slam Dunk, Kuroko no Basuke is currently making waves. I highly doubt that it?s still an underground manga, but because of the popular subject?basketball?Kuroko no Basuke was destined to break into the big leagues, anyway.

As of recently, Kuroko no Basuke has made their mark in the anime world with another follow-up coming up after the first volume of the manga. Kuroko and friends might have broken into the basketball hierarchy after winning over his former teammates, but what of the team-up looming on the horizon? The current chapter of the manga explores the life of the former teammates as they?and with a new addition, Kagami?team-up once again to face a looming threat. Also, we take a look at Good E Reader?s article about the upcoming 3DS game and a first look.

A Look at the Current Story

Kuroko?s current story sees the team-up of the divided ?Generation of Miracles?.

The ?Generation? is made-up of former team-mates and now competitors Tetsuya Kuroko, Seijuro Akashi, Shintaro Midorima, Ryota Kise, Daiki Aomine and Atsushi Murasakibara. One exception is the America-raised Kagami Taiga, who becomes Kuroko?s Seirin team-mate. However, a new threat forced the once-enemies to team-up once more, for the sake of avenging their honor from people who seek to deface their basketball.

While the series is only one page in, it would certainly be exciting to see how this team-up will fare. Will there be internal issues, seeing as it has been long since they?ve last played together? Will there also be a jostling for position between Aomine and Taiga?

Kuroko no Basuke 3DS

Another big draw for the anime is the game that is coming along.

Kuroko no Basuke is a popular anime due to its story involving basketball, but that also means it would only be a matter of time before it makes its way into video game consoles. The latest console to play host to the anime is the 3DS, as per Good E Reader. The game, which is similar in nature to the Slam Dunk game back on the Gameboy, will feature Kuroko and the gang. They seem to be playing for their respective teams, but in the demo, Kuroko was teamed up with others such as Midorima and Murasakibara.

Will users be able to create their own ?All-Star? team composed of characters from different teams? It seems that way, although the chibi rendering can only give the game a childish feel of sorts?although the action doesn?t seem to be lacking.

More Kuroko no Basuke, Please?

The anime, however, seems to still be lacking in certain departments.

The manga has yet to move along with the new storyline, and it will be interesting to see the Generation include Taiga in their illustrious super-team. However, we can only wait for word about when the new season will begin as Kuroko no Basuke seems to be in hiatus currently.
