How It All Began
Kizuku Watanabe and Jo Aoto started the Koro-sensei Q! (Koro Teacher Quest!) manga, which happened to be the spinoff of Yusei Matsui’s Assassination Classroom manga. This was in Shueisha’s Saikyo Jump magazine back in October of 2015. Koro-sensei in Koro-sensei Q! was a demon king living in a world of swords and sorcery. The first compiled manga volume was published by Shueisha on July 4.
There was already an anime that was based on Koro-sensei Q! manga and it premiered together with Ansatsu Kyoshitsu: 365 Nichi no Jikan (Assassination Classroom The Movie: 365 Days). This was an anime compilation film released in November. Thus, the upcoming anime series of Koro-sensei Q! will be the continuation to the anime movie that’s shown in theaters per animenewsnetwork.com.

The initial 22-episode tv anime series that was based on Assassination Classroom manga premiered in Japan back in January of 2015. Season 2 premiered in January 2016 and ended this July. On the other hand, the manga ended in Weekly Shonen Jump of Shueisha this March. The original manga also spawned two live-action films. The second one premiered on March 25 in Japanese theaters.
