KonoSuba Season 2 – The Beloved Light Novel Series Plot

Natsume Akatsuki’s story revolves around Kazuma Sato, who is a hikikomori (shut-in) super fan of anime, games and manga. A traffic accident had killed him in an instant, or should have. Strangely, he wakes up and is confronted by a gorgeous lady who claims to be a goddess.

She said, “Hey, I have some good news- would you like to go to an alternate world? You may only bring one thing you like with you.” He replies, “…So, I’ll bring you.” Then he finds himself transported to another world where his adventures of fighting off the demon king begins. But it’s not as easy as it sounds. First he has to work hard finding shelter, food, clothing. Kazuma just wants to be left in peace, but the goddess never runs out of problems to give him. Added to that, the demon king’s army has its eyes on Kazuma.

The first TV anime series was launched on January 13 of this year and the final episode aired back in March. Crunchyroll was responsible for streaming it in Japan upon airing. Its first Blu-ray disc and DVD volume was shipped on March 25 along with an original PC game. The original video anime on Blu-ray Disc shipped together with the limited edition of Volume 9 of the original light novels back in June.
