The official website for the Kirakira Precure a la Mode Anime just revealed its cast members on Thursday. They include: Karen Miyama as Cure Whip/Ichika Usami (donning a rabit motif and loves shortcake), Haruka Fukuhara playing the role of Cure Custard/Himari Arisugawa (donning a squirrel motif and has pudding as favorite dessert), Tomo Muranaka as Cure Gelato/Aoi Tategami (donning a lion motif and likes ice cream), Saki Fujita playing the role of Cure Macaron/Yukari Kotozume (donning a cat motif and snacks on macaroons), Nanako Mori plays Cure Chocolat/Akira Kenjo (donning a dog motif and loves chocolate), and Mika Kanai playing Pekorin (the chubby fairy who enjoys sweets).

This is the show’s 14th entry in the animated series. It premieres February 5 at 8:30 A.M. on ABC, TV Asahi channels and other network affiliates. The show is about colorful sweets and the cutest animals ever! The lead characters own a sweets shop. They must do everything they can to ward off the evil fairies and protect their treasured sweets per animenewsnetwork.com.

Yu Kaminoki, Risa Endo, and Akira Tanaka will be producing the anime series. The series directors would be Yukio Kaizawa and Kohei Kureta. While Jin Tanaka will be penning the series composition. Yuuki Hayashi will be in charge of the music, and Marie Ino will do the character designs. Cafe owner/cake designer will supervise the sweets for the anime. Yuri Komagata (Mangirl!) will do the opening theme song SHINE!! Kirakira Precure a la Mode while Kanako Miyamoto(Yes! Precure 5) will perform the ending song entitled Let’s La Cooking Showtime.
Furthermore, Nakayoshi magazine will release Kirakira Precure a la Mode manga series in March and will ship come February. Futago Kamikita will be drawing the series based from the original concept done by Izumi Todo which is the collective pseudonym for the entire staff of Toei Animation.
