Square Enix is yet to reveal the release date of the next Kingdom Hearts game, and fans are growing very excited for Sora?s next adventure. The developer recently confirmed that the first two main games in the series will be re-released for the PlayStation 4. Without a Kingdom Hearts 3 release date in sight as of the moment, players are beginning to speculate that the game might get delayed yet again.
Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date Assurance
Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura recently had an interview with Dengeki PlayStation about the next game. KHInsider has summarized the interview and has revealed a few things about the Kingdom Hearts 3 release date.
First off, the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 remasters, which will be released in March 2017 will not cause a delay for the?Kingdom Hearts 3 launch. ?”?In light of the remastered versions, it does not affect the progress of KINGDOM HEARTS III and the amount of staff falls into a good number,” Nomura told Dengeki.?Although we?ve yet to know when the release date of the upcoming title is, it?s worth noting that the progress of the title is still on track.
Nomura also reveals on how the team is working now on the PS4 with regards to their games in 2017.?”Even though some parts of the system may be fundamentally different in 0.2 and KH3, it?s become possible to experience a ‘PS4 quality KH’.
The director also revealed a few new details regarding Kingdom Hearts 3, first of which are the Situation Commands. The new battle feature is an evolution of Kingdom Hearts 2?s Reaction Command. He added that Situation Commands aren?t just simple quick time events in the game.
The Kingdom Hearts remasters are coming this March 2017. As for the release date of Kingdom Hearts 3, fans are hoping to hear news about it as early as E3 2017. Since the remasters will be released soon, players are speculating that the third entry will be released shortly after.
