After the anticipated wait, the Spring update for Tripwire Interactive’s Killing Floor 2 is finally live and it adds more than just new content to the game. The update adds much needed tweaks to both the PC and PlayStation 4 versions. Here are all the changes in Killing Floor 2 update 1.06 for the PlayStation 4.
Killing Floor 2 update 1.06 for the PlayStation 4 adds all of the content from The Descent content update. There are a lot of things to be excited about in the next slew of content so players should immediately download the update now that it’s available for the PlayStation 4.
The update will add 2 new weapons: the Spitfire Revolver and the Stoner 63A Light Machine Gun. The Spitfire Revolver is a weapon for Pyros and it will surely fire up Zeds. On the other hand, the Stoner 63A is for Commandos that love weapons with rapid fire.
The 2 new maps coming to Killing Floor 2 are The Descent and Nuked. Tripwire Interactive’s The Descent map is a Holdout style map. Holdout is a variation of the Survival Game Mode. In Holdout, players will have to go through maps that are stitched together and offer various experiences when in play.
These additions to the game will come free of charge in Killing Floor 2 update 1.06. Tripwire Interactive’s additions to the game are good new pieces of content for players to get into. Perhaps the most exciting of the additions are the Holdout sub mode and the new maps.
Aside from these additions, the update will also be adding a ton of bug fixes to the game. The bug fixes range from minor to major fixes so players can expect a smoother time in the game. Some of the bug fixes include:
- Fixed 3P sprint animation issues with Bone Crusher, P90, KRISS, MP5RAS, MP7, M16 M203 (Left shoulder popping on sprint animation and MP5RAS not fixed)
- Fix for trader showing the wrong ammo count when buying a dual weapon
- Reset class ignore flag if a Husk suicide is not ignoring humans
- Players can no longer dismember headless zed corpses on low gore settings
- Fix for separate translucency not working
The update is now available so players should be able to download it without a hitch. Here are the full patch notes to Killing Floor 2 update 2.07.
