Justin Bieber Vs. Beliebers Over Sophia Richie: Who’ll Win?

By on

Canadian singer Justin Bieber is now in a difficult position as his fans, the Beliebers, are mad at him after it appeared he has chosen his rumored girlfriend over them. Who do you think will win in this war?

On Sunday, Bieber posted on his Instagram a black and white photo of him and Sofia Richie, his alleged girlfriend. The picture has a caption of ?I?m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don?t stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn?t be so mean to people that I like.?

However, a lot of his supporters took the message the wrong way because it seems like Bieber has chosen the wrong words, especially calling them out as ?fans? not as ?Beliebers.? As a result, there were a lot of angry fans in the internet on that day, and even the hashtag #RIPBeliebers trended.

But, it was not just the fans who reacted on that post by Justin Bieber, because the singer?s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, also commented on that same post. She wrote, ?If you can?t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don?t be mad at your fans. They love you.?

Gomez?s comment earned a lot of respect from the Beliebers and even caused them to back her up on the comment section. Bieber, on the other hand, replied to his ex-girlfriend?s comment. ?It?s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love,? he said. After a few more minutes, he followed it by, ?I?m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers.?

In this word war between the fans and Bieber, it appears like the fans have won because they made their idol call them ?Beliebers? again after addressing them as his fans. Obviously, Gomez played a huge role in that success. But, it cannot be denied that Bieber is still dating Richie and we can expect issues like these in the near future.
