Warner Bros. surprised the fans at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday by premiering the first trailer for Zack Snyder?s superhero all-star movie – Justice League that is scheduled to release November 17, 2017.

In the newly unveiled footage Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) is shown putting the group together, and meeting Aquaman and The Flash for the first time. His meeting with Aquaman ?(Jason Momoa) doesn?t turn as expected as Arthur Curry slams him to the wall and when Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) quieres whether he?ll be joining their group Batman isn?t quite sure. The Flash (Ezra Miller) on the other hand gets recruited easily enough but only after realizing that Wayne is the Batman. The footage also gives us first look at Cyborg (Ray Fisher).

The teaser also turned out to quite a humorous one with many jokes, in contrast to Batman v Superman, which was criticized for its darker tone.

?So you?re fast,? Bruce Wayne growls at The Flash. ?That feels like an oversimplification,? The Flash responds, before telling Bruce the young speedster needs some friends. In a meeting between Wayne and Aquaman, Wayne cracks, ?I hear you can talk to fish.?

However, we didn?t catch Clark Kent/Superman in the clip so there definitely questions about whether he might return for the movie especially after the events that transpired in the Dawn of Justice. Last we saw Man of Steel he went down fighting Doomsday and in the end of movie a memorial is held for Superman in Metropolis.

But the official Justice League poster by unveiled at Comic-Con, features the entire superhero squad inlcuding Superman (Henry Cavill) alongside Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman and the Flash. Fans of the franchise largely suspect that the poster confirms ?imminent return of the character in the upcoming film.

While plot details are still unclear, here?s the official synopsis for Justice League: ?Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman?s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of meta-humans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes ? Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Flash ? it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.?

The next in line from DCEU, Suicide Squad is scheduled to arrive in theaters on August 5, 2016. Wonder Woman is slated for release on June 2, 2017; followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; an untitled DC Film on October 5, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; an untitled DC film on November 1, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020.
