A new patch was released for Just Cause 3 that will prepare itself from upcoming DLCs
It has been revealed that Just Cause 3 will have its first expansion called Sky Fortress, which is expected to release on March 8 and it will be available to those who purchased the $25 Air, Land and Season Expansion Pass, but for those who have not purchased the season pass, they can get the new expansion a week later on March 15 for $15. And to prepare for the launch, a patch update was released a few days ago to provide some fixes on the current issues with the game and to make it optimized for the upcoming expansion.
Here are the details on what is inside the latest 1.03 game patch:
- Reduced initial loading time and in-game loading screens by 20-50%
- Fixed several memory leaks resulting in crashes
- Reduced a number of random crashes
- Improved streaming of game world
- Some performance optimizations related to hitches and stuttering
- Implemented DLC system in preparation of the Air, Land and Sea packages
The Sky Fortress DLC expansion will include new missions that focuses on the sky fortress that was built by the eDEN Corporation; which is a new threat in the game. In order to topple the new threat, Rio will get some new arsenals, the expansion will introduce a new Bavarium Wingsuit that includes a shoulder mounted machine guns and auto targeting missiles. He will also be getting an Eviction drone and the new Bavarium Splitter rifle, and the good news is that all of the new gears will also be available in the main game.
The new expansion promises to add more content and hours of gameplay for players who finished the main game. There are two more expansions that were being planned and they will be available before the end of summer. Just Cause 3 is now available for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
