Universal has confirmed that we?ll be seeing another installment of the Jurassic franchise as Jurassic World 2 is set to show on June 22, 2018. Actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallace Howard are returning for the sequel.
It seems that we will be getting more from Pratt and his leading lady, the Hollywood Reporter confirmed, as both stars will reprise their roles for the sequel of the successful Jurassic World movie which became the 3rd biggest film?of all time with over $1.522 billion in earnings, enabling the film to Lord Over The Avengers ($1.520 billion) and Titanic ($2.186 billion).
Jurassic World will be getting a sequel which still isn?t named, but is speculated to be called Jurassic World 2 as it will include both the film?s stars.?Jurassic World Director Colin Trevorrow will be stepping down from his chair and will work instead on the sequel?s script along with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg will again be the sequel?s executive alongside Trevorrow. The rumored Jurassic World 2-title will be produced by Frank Marshall.
Jurassic World 2 Confirmed: Not Limited To Theme Parks, More Dinosaurs.
The sequel?s plans and director is still to be announced. Trevorrow however has already hinted before what may be coming for Jurassic World 2.??I feel like the idea that this isn?t always going to be limited to theme parks, and there are applications for this science that reach far beyond entertainment,? Trevorrow said as reported by IB Times. ?And when you look back at nuclear power and how that started, the first instinct was to weaponise it and later on we found it could be used for energy.?
Trevorrow hinted that we may be able to see various kinds of?dinosaurs in the flick especially when Jurassic World?s Indominus Rex Creator Dr. Wu escaped in the film unscathed and even told Jurassic World Theme Park Creator Dr. Mesrani: ?We?re not always going to be the only ones who can make a dinosaur?.
?What if there are 15 different entities around the world who can make a dinosaur?? Trevorrow teased.
