Joy Movie Release Date & Plot: Producers Expect Same Success As Larwrence & Cooper?s First Project

Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper return once again in the upcoming movie Joy based on real life of Joy Mangano the woman behind invention of Miracle Mop.
Joy premiered in New York and Los Angeles for the press and guild voters on Saturday and would be the final movie in 2015 hopeful for Oscar nominations. Fox Studios also released several promos of the movie on TV for the movie which debuts this Christmas.
Joy is based on real life of Joy Mangano, the inventor and entrepreneur behind the Miracle Mop and several other household products. The movie which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro is written and directed by David O. Russell. Jennifer Lawrence plays the role of ?Joy? while Robert De Niro plays as Joy?s father and Bradley Cooper as executive at Home Shopping Network who helps Joy in her business. This is a third collaboration of all four since they previously worked together in Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle.
Jennifer Lawrence described her recent movie as a tribute to ?women who are the unsung heroes of their households? according to report by EW. In relation to the character she plays Lawrence said, ?she had a fire and gift that she had buried for 17 years.? Also talking in live Q&A she said she was willing to do work with Russell till the day she dies.
Russell talking about Lawrence, Cooper and De Niro to Hollywood Reporter said that the inspiration for the characters was formed by ?our growth together in last five years.? Russell also said it was his first movie centred around a woman protagonist and pointed Lawrence is playing someone ?who?s not crazy? in one of his movies.
Jennifer Lawrence?s Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Pt.2 is doing very well in the box office. It is last of the movie in the popular ?Hunger Games? series and we finally say goodbye to Katniss Everdeen. Joy arrives in theatres on December 25th.
