The Johnny Depp and Amber Heard divorce drama has taken another turn as Amber has reportedly rejected an offer for spousal support as Johnny flew to the Bahamas in the middle of the controversy.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard had a love story that everyone was rooting for. Ever since the two started dating in 2012 until their marriage last year, their fans have been watching the couple closely. Sadly, their love story doesn?t have a happy ending as Heard filed for divorce last May citing that the ?Pirates of the Caribbean? star had abused her, as reported by E Online.
According to a report from The Daily Mail, Amber Heard rejected offer of spousal support from her estranged husband Johnny Depp. The report cites that the rejection was because he wanted to include a restraining order against her. TMZ reported Heard would never agree to be subject of a restraining order as ?she was not the one who committed the violence?.
There was early speculation that Heard was simply after money in the divorce proceedings but this recent news certainly puts that rumor to rest. Still, there is no clear resolution yet for the divorce battle between Depp and Heard. Johnny has seemingly taken a break from all of the drama though as Us Magazine reports that the actor flew to his private island in the Bahamas.
Depp took his vacation after he wrapped up the European tour of his band, the Hollywood Vampires. It is interesting though as the private island where Depp is currently vacationing is the same one where the he and Heard got married last year, as reported by the same Us Magazine report.
Will there be a resolution on the horizon for the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard divorce drama? I guess all we can do at this point is to wait and see.
