We finally got to see the teaser for the upcoming Marvel Netflix series with a new superhero.
Marvel is on the spotlight once again with the new trailer for their newest net series. The teaser for Jessica Jones went online last Saturday, and right now the video is almost reaching a million hits.
Marvel?s Jessica Jones will star Krysten Ritter (known on her roles as Jane Margolis in Breaking Bad and Chloe in Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23) as the titular character, who is a former superhero who opens her own detective agency when her superhero career ended badly, now she is based in New York City and handling cases involving people with special abilities.
The really short 40-second teaser shows Jessica Jones still sleeping on her messy room, showing hints that she may having a hard time after the career ending incident or rather having a rough lifestyle, with the alarm clock started blaring the Loving You song by Minnie Riperton and ending the trailer with the alarm clock being crushed by her bare hand.
After the success of the Daredevil Netflix series, Jessica Jones will then join the line-up of series to be handled by Netflix in partnership with Marvel. More series will follow, including Luke Cage and Iron Fist which will lead up to the creation of The Defenders, where the four main characters will be teaming up.
The Jessica Jones series will also star David Tennant as villain Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Rachael Taylor as Jessica?s best friend Trish Walker and Carrie-Anne Moss in an unconfirmed role, the series will be produced by Melissa Rosenberg and Liz Friedman and with Marvel?s head of television, Jeph Loeb. Expect to see the series on Netflix on November 20 and will run for 13 episodes.
