Leave it to Gong Hyo Jin to portray a character so humble yet awkward, as well as sensible and funny all at the same time. She played this kind of role as Ae Jung in ?The Greatest Love? and Kong-Sil in ?The Master?s Sun?, opposite Cha Seung Won and So Ji Sub. Now, back in Jealousy Incarnate, another romantic comedy drama series, Gong plays Pyo Na Ri, a weather forecaster for a big television station.

As someone who has tried and failed to become an announcer, Pyo Na Ri still finds joy in her work even if it is at the bottom of her preferred career slope. She volunteers to help around in production after she finishes her 60-second weather segment every night and has become everyone?s go-to person for all unwanted side work.

With a brother to support, whose tuition she has to pay with her meager salary, Pyo Na Ri does all she can to keep her job at the station, even to the point of wearing bum pads and very tight clothes.

Jealousy Incarnate different from other dramas

The new drama will have 24 episodes, and will run until November. According to Allkpop, during SBS? press conference for the newly released drama, Jo Jung Suk said that the reason he selected this work was because of writer, Seo Sook Hyang and actress Gong Hyo Jin.

?I couldn?t not select this drama after learning that the two of them would also be working on it,? Jo said. ?I?m working hard on the drama?s filming right now, thinking, ?As expected [of Gong Hyo Jin and Seo Sook Hyang].?

The Oh My Ghostess star also said that the new koreanovela expresses the feeling of envy and jealousy that everyone experiences no matter their gender or age making it different from other ongoing dramas.

Jealousy Incarnate airs at SBS every Wednesday and Thursday at 10pm.
