James Bond New Movie Spectre Trailer Reveals Plot, New Villain, Aston Martin DB10, And Returning Bond Girls!

By on

James Bond is up to his usual antics again as the new Spectre trailer shows the obligatory introduction of a Bond-ified luxurious car, an Aston Martin DB10, the super spy peppering his foes in style with led, and Bond hooking-up with gorgeous women (again).

Spectre looks to be a great movie with the trailer showing exploding cars, a car belching fire like to provide a nitro boost, and a helicopter doing a barrel roll. But for 007 aficionados, the trailer is more than just another action-packed Bond movie as it will make them feel nostalgic as it references numerous Bond films in the past. Regular viewers looking to just sit in and watch the trailer will surely enjoy the latest Bond offering, but they won?t get the same hype and experience compared to fans.

Some Bond References

Bond references Russia With Love as Bond goes on an elegant and romantic dinner on a train. ?Another involves the title itself, Spectre (Special Executive for Counter-Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion) which actually references the long-time organization that Bond has fought against numerous times before. Fans are also getting riled-up on guessing that actor Christopher Waltz is the long-time Bond nemesis and head of Spectre Ernst Stavro Blofeld as he wears a similar fashion as previous film?s Blofeld and as he utters ?to Bond that he is ?the author of all your pain?.

The trailer starts with Bond wearing a skull mask during the annual Day of the Dead festival on a rogue mission in Mexico and apparently caused havoc in the area which gets Bond in trouble with his superiors and seemed to have caused Bond to be relieved from duty (another reference as this always happen to him). But Bond still thrives as the trailer shows Bond conspiring with his comrades.

Amid all the explosions in the trailer, it looks like Bond?s fight in the film will be like no other after he learns of ?a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks?, showing that the movie is taking a risk on delving more into Bond?s character.

Spectre 007 seems to be upping its ante from Skyfall as it reportedly has a bigger budget and was shot in more different places. But set-pieces aside, the flick might possibly pit Bond and Spectre against one another.

Bond Girls

Every Bond movie comes with Bond girls and it doesn?t seem to disappoint with three included in the movie, however only two of them were shown in the trailer.? Madeline Swann is played by French actress Lea Seydoux who starred in Blue is the Warmest Color and in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. ?Another is Lucia Sciarra played by Italian actress Monica Bellucci who is shown in the trailer having an affair with Bond.

Bond?s role will again be reprised by Daniel Craig along with Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista, Naomi Harris, Andrew Scott, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Stephanie Sigman, Dante Briggins, Neve Gachev, Daniel Stisen, and Jesper Christensen.

Spectre is directed by Sam Mendes. Spectre will be released in the U.K on October 26 and in the US on November 6.
