The iPhone 8 is likely to pack an ultra-thin design as well as a Touch Bar. A social media video is teasing this possibility.
A YouTube video has teased the iPhone 8 concept. It is posted by a user using the name ?Apple designer.? The video shows that there is a Touch Bar. This is similar to the Touch Bar seen on this year?s new MacBook Pro models.
The same video is also speculating an ultra thin design for the iPhone 8. Apple will add a Thunderbolt 3 port, which will be helpful for faster charging and transfers of up to 40 gigabytes per second, according to ValueWalk.
iPhone 8 Features And Updates
The iPhone 8 will carry a Curved OLED display. The iPhone will have three variants. Among the three, one will sport an aluminum body variants just like the iPhone 7/7S.
Samsung will provide the OLED displays to Apple. The OLED will have embedded sensors in the display and workable edges like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
The iPhone 8 will not have a home button. It is going to be the first iPhone to arrive without a home button. The iPhone will be powered by a 10nm technology-based A11 processor. This processor is made by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company.
The new A11 processor will be 30 percent more powerful and 20 percent more battery-efficient than the iPhone 7?s processor.
iPhone 8 will serve the user with awesome security features. Apple will ditch the passcode encryption and add Iris/facial scanning. This feature will be called as Retina Eye scanner,?according to International Business Times. ?
?We believe one of the reasons why new iPhones will switch from metal casing to glass casing is to support wireless charging. In order to ensure a superior performance, we believe it is most appropriate for EMS suppliers to develop and make the wireless charger because then a comprehensive test can be conducted,? a research note from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo speculated.
