Apple?s iPhone 7 is one the most awaited devices. The company has not released any statement regarding the device. However, there are a lot of rumors on the internet about the specs and release date. Recent reports claim that the new device will feature an endless display.
According to Forbes contributor Gordon Kelly, an upcoming handset could have edge to edge OLED display. Kelly?s statement is based on reports by Wall Street Journal and industry commentator John Gruber. In the last month, Gruber has reported the same feature. However, he expected that Apple will skip iPhone 7, and this edge to edge display will be featured in the iPhone 8.
Moreover, Apple could remove the physical home button and the fingerprint reader will be integrated to the so-called OLED display. The basic design of iPhone 7 is supposed be exactly the same as iPhone 6.
Apple?s iPhone 7 Plus will feature 5.5-inch OLED display with capacitive touch. It will offer 1080×1920 screen resolution at 501 ppi density. The screen would be protected by Ion-strengthened glass and oleophobic coating.
Other changes may include lack of 3.5mm jack. The upcoming device will use the lightning cable port for sound output to wired headphones. It is also rumored to have a dual camera laser autofocus sensor in the iPhone 7 Plus model. The Plus model could be available in two variants with one having an optional dual-Sim and microSD card slot.
The upcoming iPhone is supposed to feature the Apple A10 processor with up to 256GB onboard storage and 2GB of RAM. Apple has released its latest operating system to its registered developers, so the iPhone will be launched with having the iOS 10 pre-installed.
These specs are based on the rumors circulating on the internet. Apple is expected to launch iPhone 7 in September. According to GottaBeMobile, iPhone 7 will cost $649 for 32GB and 256GB model will cost around $1000.
