Samsung and Apple both are in rumors for such a long time. Apple is expected to launch iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung is supposed to be working on Note 7. Both devices will be high-end phablets and both are expected to arrive in Q3 this year.
The BitBag team have searched the internet to gather the details about the specs of both devices and compared to know which one is going to be the better device.
Hardware: Processor and RAM
Galaxy Note 7 might be available in two variants running on the Exynos 8890 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor. Adding to this huge 256GB internal memory and 6GB RAM would be there to enhance the performance of device. So, it is quite clear that hardware is configured to provide superb performance. It would run Android Marshmallow 6.0.
According to GSMArena, iPhone 7 Plus will be powered by Apple A10 processor. With 2GB of RAM, the phone is supposed to roll out in three variants on the basis of internal storage with 32GB, 128GB and 256GB onboard. The new iPhone 7 Plus would be running iOS 10, Apple could announce latest iOS during its Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC.
Note 7 would have a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. An always-on display is obvious as the company has already implemented this technology in the Galaxy S7. The Corning Gorilla Glass 4 could be there as well.
Apple?s iPhone 7 Plus will feature 5.5-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD with capacitive touch. It will offer 1080×1920 screen resolution at 501ppi density. The screen would be protected by Ion-strengthened glass and oleophobic coating.
It is uncertain, but a 12MP camera with Super OIS Plus is likely to be there. There are also rumors about having a 20MP camera, but it seems Samsung will stick to 12MP, similar to the one in Galaxy S7. Similar to Note 7, iPhone 7 will feature similar 12 MP camera.
The Note 7 is supposed to be powered by a 4000mAh battery while the iPhone 7 Plus is supposed to have 3100mAh battery.
Both devices will feature Fingerprint reader, accelerometer, gyro, compass, barometer and proximity sensors. Moreover, Samsung Note 7 would include additional heartrate and SpO2 sensors as these are already there in Samsung Note 5.
So, if both devices rolls out with these features or even close to it, Note 7 is definitely going to be better than iPhone 7 plus.
