The iPhone 6 has only been released last year, but rumors point that Apple may release the iPhone 7 with tons of new features as early as September 2015 ? the time of the month when the Tech giant usually comes out with a new iPhone model.

The new iPhone 7 is said to be unveiled shortly after the iPhone 6c and 6s are announced and reports says that the new numbered phone will be releasing within the third quarter of this year. Apple decides to release the iPhone 6 iterations first ?to open the market for people who want to buy a cheap Apple phone, Daily Online reported.

The claims for a new numbered Apple phone release this year seems plausible if reports are true that the new smartphone has long started its production. ?According to reports from Taiwan, Apple has been working on dual-lens camera tech for 3 years already,? Expert Reviews reported. iDigital Times however thinks that the iPhone 7 is penned for a September 2016 release.

What are the new features?

The new numbered phone including?the rumored 6S and 6c are all rumoured to have a ?flexible? display. 3dfuture has posted photos showing their concept of the upcoming iPhone 6s and 6cc.

The phone is also rumoured to have ?sidewall displays? which can be used to control the slide-to-unlock functionality as well as for music player controls. This rumor sparked after an Apple patent was found which enables interactive or touch sensitive portions of the sides of the device.

A company document was also reportedly leaked, showing that the new iPhone 7 will have a 12MP rear-camera with 4k video recording along with 240FPS slow-motion capabilities. It is also said to have a decent 5MP front camera and a modest 2GB RAM.

Rumors also surface that Apple is churning out a voicemail killer which allows Siri to read your voicemails to convert them texts received via cloud, Network World reported. This feature is being implemented to help people that want to visually see voicemails instead of listening to?them. The report also says that the feature is already being tested on Apple employees.

Take these rumors with a grain of salt however as some of the new iPhone 7 rumors are already being slowly debunked, like with KnowYourMobile who got their rumors wrong that the iPhone 6s will be released within the first half of 2015.
