With a series of leaked images of the rumored iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus pouring in these past few weeks, Apple may have successfully gained the leverage it needs to give a bona fide reveal.? The multinational technology company has officially confirmed their announcement as to when and where the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be shown to the world, according to Forbes.
Apple sent out invitations to journalists recently for a September 9th event that will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium at San Francisco. With almost 10 days to go before the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus launches, images of some of the features of the devices have been leaked that may have revealed some bad news, according to Forbes.
China?s cnBeta has obtained concerning news about the new device regarding their battery capacities. Surprisingly, the new iPhones will have a reduced battery life compared to the previous. iPhone 6S will now have a 1715 mAh compared to the previous 1810 mAh, while iPhone 6S Plus will have a 2750 mAh instead of the previous 2910 mAh.
Past rumors have also shown features for the upcoming upgraded version of Apple?s phone including the Force Touch, but new and more detailed photos of the phone have been obtained by 9to5Mac. Reports indicate that the new device will also be upgraded with front-facing FaceTime cameras with bigger sensors. 9to5Mac also shares that the rear camera?s sensor will be 12 megapixels and will have a whopping 4K high-definition resolution in video shooting.
No Additional Storage
According to 9to5Mac, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will not increase their base storage option to 32GB. Instead, they will maintain their storage options of 16GB, 64 GB, and 124GB. That will mean a problem for 16GB users as the move of the iPhones to a 4K ?Ultra HD? video and 12mp sensors as they will need a more extensive storage.
What to Expect
With information of the new phones flying out from everywhere, the real surprise from the Apple launch may be on a different perspective. According to Forbes, the surprise that may be ?best exemplified? is the tagline on the invite itself: ?Hey Siri, give us a hint,? which only adds to the rumors of a new and improved Apple TV with a Siri-powered voice control. So expect the iPhone 6 launch and other exciting reveals at the September 9th event from Apple.
