As expected, Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will be going head-to-head with their rumored handsets, the Samsung Galaxy F and the iPhone 6. Neither of the two smartphones have been even out yet, but rumors and speculations about the two devices are circulating faster?than ever. For many years now, Samsung and Apple have been facing off, trying to outshine each other.?
Multiple sources are suggesting that the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy F will be released this coming September. But for now, let?s just examine what people are saying about the two anticipated handsets and compare the rumors about them.
Samsung Galaxy F and iPhone 6 Designs and Possible Features
Both devices are expected to come in a metal chassis. Apple has been using metal casings for years with the iPhone while Samsung has been stuck with plastic backings. Many people are criticizing Samsung?s plastic casing, and there have been rumors about a Galaxy smartphone with a metal casing for years. When people began to hear about a premium device from Samsung, a metal-backed smartphone seemed to make sense.
Now the display size. There are reports that Apple Inc. is currently in the works with two sizes of the iPhone 6. One is said to have a 4.7 inch-display, and the other might be in a phablet-size 5.5-inch display. Also, rumors suggest that both sizes will be released at the same time. On the other hand, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd is tipped to equip the Samsung Galaxy F with a 5.3-inch display.
The rumored features of both handsets are comparable. Apple Inc. began equipping 64-bit chips in their iPhones with 5S, and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd is rumored to move to 64-bit chips this year or early next year. Depending on Samsung Galaxy F?s release date, it could have a 64-bit chip.
Both smartphones? are also expected to have a biometric security feature in the form of a fingerprint sensor, just like their recent forerunners have.
One place where the two rumored handsets significantly differ is in the camera. iPhone 6 could still stick with the same 8MP camera that has been in previous models, while Samsung Galaxy F is reported to be sporting a 16MP camera.
