Rumors are rife that the iPad Pro 2 release will be at Apple?s annual fall event alongside the highly anticipated iPhone 7 lineup.
The first iPad Pro launch happened in the fall of 2015. Its smaller and upgraded variant was introduced to the world six months later in March 2016. Given the Apple product cycles, the device can be expected to be unveiled no sooner than September this year. However, there is also a possibility that the tablet will not surface this year at all and the company would introduce the upgraded model in spring 2017.
Also if the new iPad is introduced later in the year, there is still uncertainty surrounding whether it will be the iPad Pro 2 or the iPad Air 3 or even a new iPad Mini. It will be unreasonable to expect an upgraded 9.7-inch iPad Pro to be unveiled since it was only introduced six months ago.
Fans may have certain expectations from the new iPad if it arrives this fall. To begin with, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 features are expected to include the True Tone display and other additions as were seen on the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. So, the offering will most likely possess a 12MP iSight Camera and a front-facing HD camera Retina Flash. The primary camera will be equipped with 4K video recording capability and be able to capture Live Photos. It is also said to arrive with 256GB storage capacity and a Rose Gold color option.
Apple should well be bringing in some new features and these could include an upgraded processor and the offering shipping with iOS 10 right out of the box.
