iPad Pro 2 Release Nears As Apple Offers Refurbished iPad Pro

By on

iPad Pro 2 release rumors are currently circulating again after Apple has discreetly placed its predecessor in a special promo.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro was first made available for purchase 10 months ago. Now, the Cupertino-based tech giant is offering its refurbished version on its online store.

Even though the device does not yet have a dedicated section on the website, several people were still able to notice the discounted iPad Pro models when they scrolled all the way to the bottom of the main iPad page.

The offered devices carry a 14 to 15 percent discount. For example, the entry-level 32GB iPad Pro is priced at $679 ? a savings of $120 from its original price of $799.

Prior to the said iPad Pro discount that was reported by MacRumors, the tablet was already previously placed on a back-to-school promo by Apple last July. Other top products that were included during the said sale included iPhone 6 handsets and Beats headphones, which were given for free to Mac buyers.

Because of the discounts that are being given to the device, patrons speculate that Apple is clearing inventories of the old model to make way for the upcoming iPad Pro 2 release.

There have been reports that the new product will be launched in Spring 2017. Rumors have also been circulating that production for the new tablet will begin at the same time as the release of the much awaited iPhone 7.

Aside from rumors about the iPad Pro 2?s release, tech enthusiasts have also been on the lookout for the highly anticipated device?s rumored features. Tech insiders have shared that the iPad Pro 2 will reportedly be powered by the next generation A10X processor, which Apple will supposedly be ready with by the end of this year.

Aside from the A10X processor, the iPad Pro 2 will also reportedly sport the True Tone display technology that is available from the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. It is also rumored to have a new and improved camera and the same lightning port that is being expected in the iPhone 7 and the iPad Mini 5.
