There?s finally a good news for Apple iPhone and iPads owners waiting for iOS 10 jailbreak tool. Renowned Italian hacker Luca Todesco has managed to release a first jailbreak for iOS 10 known as Yalu. The jailbreak is still in its infancy stages and is flagged as beta version.
iOS 10.1.1 Yalu Jailbreak Tool download
Todesco released to the public for the first time ever an iOS 10.1/10.1.1 jailbreak called yalu + mach_portal. The jailbreak tool?currently supports only a select number of 64-bit iOS devices and is of semi-untethered nature.
The Yalu iOS Jailbreak tool is available for download to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on 10.1.1. The iPhone 6s/6s Plus on 10.0.x-10.1.1 and iPad Pro on 10.0.x-10.1.1 are also supported. However, 32-bit iPhones including the iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 4S and 32-bit iPad and iPod touch are not supported at all.
Aside from the device eligibility, there are several prerequisites for installing the Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak. Enthusiasts will need Yalu IPA file and Cydia Impactor which is available for Windows, MacOS and Linux. The latest iTunes software must be installed on user?s PC or Mac. Moreover, the Touch ID and Passcode must be disabled in the device.
Jailbreak Tool Issues
The Yalu jailbreak is severely limited in nature to a?number of devices and as such not much successful. Several users have complained of installation problems. Sine Apple is no longer signing iOS 10.1.1, those who have updated to iOS 10.2 cannot downgrade to take advantage of the jailbreak.
Todesco?s JB Tool of semi-untethered nature which means users will need to re-jailbreak their devices, every time they reboot. ?In addition, iOS 10 JB tool is plagued with several issues. The Cydia Substrate is not working yet so not all the tweaks from Cydia will work. It has been reported that several devices are facing a bunch of teething issues including LTE, FaceTime and iMessage problems after installing the beta jailbreak for iOS 10.
However the Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10.1/10.1.1 is the first beta iteration, so you cannot expect a perfect tool yet. Todesco promised more updates to be released soon besides informing users of several fixes to the known issues.
iOS 10.2 Jailbreak Update
Apple has already rolled out iOS 10.2 update for many of its iOS devices. Those on iOS 10.2 are waiting for jailbreak update are likely to be offered a solution soon. Chinese hacker group, Team Pangu is ever closer to releasing a tool now that Apple has effectively released a stable iOS 10.2.
Pangu has actually demonstrated its own iOS 10.2 Jailbreak, but this has not been released to the public yet, reports University Herald. The iOS 10.2 JB tool?s public release can be expected in within days of 2017 according to rumors. Meanwhile, Todesco too hinted at developing a far more effective iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool. He promised users he was looking at a different exploit in iOS 10 for an effective Jailbreak.
