Luca Tedesco, an Italian developer and hacker has already jailbroken an iPhone 7 running on iOS 10.0.1 update. Now iOS 10 jailbreak rumors indicate that the release of a new jailbreak tool is around the corner.
On Twitter, Tedesco has added an image showing a black iPhone 7 that has been jailbroken. It shows the Cydia 1.1.26 has been already installed on iPhone 7 running on iOS 10.0.1 update.? Reports suggest that the Cupertino company had released iOS 10.0.1 update to prevent hackers from jailbreaking iOS 10.
Even though Tedesco has managed to successfully perform iOS 10 jailbreak, he has not revealed the details on how to do it. Hence, there is no confirmation on whether he performed untethered jailbreak or some other technique to jailbreak iOS 10.

However, it does indicate that the iOS 10.0.1 update is jailbreakable. Currently, no jailbreaking team has come forward with a tool that can help general users to conveniently jailbreak iOS 10. However, rumors indicate that jailbreaking groups from China like Pangu are already working on an iOS 10 jailbreak tool.
Jailbreaking iOS is similar to rooting an Android device. Jailbreaking and rooting allows users to access those settings, tweaks and install apps that are generally not allowed by iOS and Android.
iOS only its users to install apps from its app store, but jailbreaking iOS 10 can make it possible for the users to install apps that are available on Cydia apps store.
