Apple is supposed to release its latest iOS 10 in September. It is reported that the Pangu team will release the iOS 10 Jailbreak tool as soon as the company releases iOS 10.
Apple has released the fourth beta version of iOS 10 to its registered developers. It is reported that Pangu team has already achieved the jailbreak tool for upcoming iOS 10. The team had demonstrated its jailbreak process during during the Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC) held in Shanghai, China, last July 1.
There are chances that the team is waiting for the release of iOS 10. Releasing jailbreak before the launch of iOS 10 will alert the developers about the exploit that let Pangu team to bypass the operating system. The same happened with iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak tool. Soon, after the launch of jailbreak Apple released iOS 9.3.4 update. Earlier, it was believed that 9.3.3 update is the final version of iOS 9.3. Apple release 9.3.4 update just to fix the crack that let Pangu bypass it.
The Pangu team could shed some light on iOS 10 jailbreak during Black Hat USA 2016. The event is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas from July 30 to August 4. Last month, GameNGuide claimed that the Pangu team will attend the Black Hat event in USA. However, the team has not yet confirmed the statement.
Meanwhile, interested iOS 9.3.3 users can download its jailbreak tool. However, the jailbreak tool is semi-tethered. That means jailbreak users have to relaunch the tool every time they reboot the device. The Pangu team has ruled out the rumors of the release of untethered iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak.
For those who are using a 9.3.3 jailbreak tool, they are advised to stay where they are. Once they jump to the new iOS 9.3.4, they will not be able to use the jailbreak tool any more. Although, Apple is signing 9.3.3, the company could stop singing it in future. It is advised to wait for iOS 10 jailbreak tool before upgrading to newer version of iOS.
