Apple iPhone users are waiting for the iOS 10 jailbreak tool to debut soon as the tech giant just released the iOS 9.3.5 update. The new update comes just one month after the iOS 9.3.4 release.

While Pangu team has not confirmed when the iOS 10 jailbreak tool will be made available, we are expecting the release to happen in a couple of months. In any case, the cumulative jailbreak tool released by Pangu, covering the iOS 9.2 to iOS 9.3.3, is of no use now as the new iOS 9.3.5 comes with fixes for all the exploits found in the previous versions.

Meanwhile,?MacRumors says Apple fixed critical vulnerabilities in the recent iOS 9.3.5 update, which is believed to be the last update for iOS 9. To be specific, the iOS 9.3.5 comes bundled with fixes for three ?zero-day exploits? and hence, it is advisable to download and install the firmware as soon as possible.

Three security exploits, fixed in the latest firmware update, were discovered by Citizen Lab and Lookout. According to them, private Israeli firm NSO Group’s spyware dubbed “Pegasus” is behind the exploit.

This spyware apparently has the capability to silently cause massive problems with the help of a link sent via a text message. All one has to do is to click the link and it would jailbreak the iPhone and install a malware. This malware will help the hacker get access to all the calls, messages, and emails, to name a few.

Pegasus is reportedly the most sophisticated one because it apparently uses strong encryption to stave off detection. However, this spyware is not new as it is believed to be around since the days of iOS 7.

The same spyware is also being used by many organizations, across the globe, to get information about high-value targets. Big time corporate espionage is also being done on iOS, Android and even Blackberry is not spared.

After finding such a critical exploit, Apple was reportedly notified about the spyware. Immediately, the iPhone maker fixed the issue and readied a patch, and this is why the iOS 9.3.5 update is very important.

Speaking of iOS 10 jailbreak tool, with iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak rendered useless, the word is that the Pangu team is relentlessly working to bring out the next version.

The Bitbag will keep you posted as we get more clarity on when iOS 10 and iOS 10 jailbreak tool will be released.
