Rumors about the release of a new jailbreak tool are circulating on the Internet for quite some time now but none of them turned out to be true. It is reported that the Pangu team has successfully bypassed iOS 9.3.2 and iOS 10. The team could release the iOS 10 jailbreak tool soon after the launch of iOS 10.

The Pangu team had demonstrated its jailbreak process during during the Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC) held in Shanghai, China, last July 1. It was believed that the team would release the jailbreak tool in the following week but it never happened.

There are chances that the team is waiting for the release of iOS 10. Apple is supposed to release iOS 10 in September and it is obvious that most users will upgrade to the latest OS to avail its features. If that?s the case, then the jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.2 would be useless. Moreover, if the team releases the jailbreak tool before iOS 10 comes out, it will alert Apple about the flaws in their OS. The next jailbreak tool would most probably be for iOS 10.

However, it is also reported that team Pangu could release the jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.2 during Black Hat USA 2016. The event is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas from July 30 to August 4. But now the chances for iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak are slim as Apple has already released iOS 9.3.3. ?GameNGuide has claimed that the Pangu team will attend the Black Hat event in USA. However, the team has not yet confirmed the statement.

In case Pangu releases the jailbreak tool, it would be the first reliable jailbreak app after eight months. Earlier, the team had successfully launched the jailbreak tool for iOS 9.1.

Back in June, Toronto based hacker and Twitter user, iH8sn0w has also demonstrated his jailbreak tool. He posted a video on Youtube. In the video, the hacker can be seen with a successfully jailbroken iPhone 5 running Cydia on iOS 10.

For those who are using a jailbreak tool, they are advised to stay where they are. Once they jump to the new iOS, they will not be able to use the jailbreak tool any more.
