The iOS 10 preview, at the WWDC, revealed the potential of what iDevices powered with the upcoming iOS 10 will be able to offer in just a couple of months. Some exciting new features the upcoming iOS will be bringing sure has many tech aficionados eagerly waiting for the D-day.

While the developers already have their hands on the latest beta of iOS 10, Apple has rolled out the iOS 10 beta 2 to general users. Apple fans, of course, wasted no time in exploring what the new iOS 10 beta 2 features are and what changes the software brings.

Since the public beta is out, fans can test the upgraded OS out for themselves. However, users should beware that it?s still in its development stage and could have some bugs, so it?s best to make sure to backup your device, just incase.

As noted by PhoneArena, one of the most noteworthy features that the iOS 10 beta 2 brings is the ability to figure out where your car has been parked. The option titled ?Show Parked Location? can be found under Settings in Maps. Naturally, the device should be connected with the car?s Bluetooth to be able to locate where exactly the car has been parked.

 

The other iOS 10 beta 2 changes and features include the Notifications window with the word ?Missed? (notifications) being replaced with ?Recent.? Also, swiping directly to the right reveals the widgets.

Other changes have come to the Mail app as well with a new filter button, tweaks to the Control Center, ability to download sticker packs for iMessage and Siri opening with a marginally different animation.

iOS 10 release date is pegged to arrive during the fall of 2016. If the previous Apple product release cycles are any indication, then the final version of the upcoming OS should roll-out a couple of days before the iPhone 7 is unveiled to the world in September 2016.
