Apple iPhone and iPad users finally breathed a sigh of relief after Luca Todesco released the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak tool a few days back. The latest jailbreaking tool dubbed Yalu iOS 10.1.1 debuted last week during Christmas. It is, however, still in beta mode and riddled with several problems. Todesco?s half baked tool has several users waiting to unlock the full potential of their Apple devices.
iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak Update
The infamous Italian hacker promised to release iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak update following several complaints. Several users experienced problems with their Safari and other Apple apps. Others were unable to jailbreak their devices at all.
As promised, Todesco is back with iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak Beta 4 update. The Yalu Beta 4 JB tool comes with Substrate and stability fixes according to TravelersToday.com. Still in beta mode, the jailbreak is riddled with several unknown bugs and problems. However, compared to the first version, this one has lesser issues and better stability.
In addtion, iOS 10.1.1. jailbreak beta 4 version doesn?t support any new device yet and is only limited to 64-bit devices. Similar to the first version of the jailbreak, it is semi-tethered. It means the users need to jailbreak their device every time the iOS reboots.
Todesco has even issued a fair warning to iOS Jailbreak enthusiasts. He said the Yalu iOS 10 Jailbreak is really designed for developers and prone to setback and mistakes. This can result in the iOS being restored to the original thereby?making the jailbreak tool useless.
iOS 10.2 Jailbreak
Meanwhile, the larger jailbreak community is waiting for a fully tethered iOS 10.2 Jailbreak. Since Apple rolled out iOS 10.2 many are already on the latest iOS and unable to rollback to take advantage of the Yalu Jailbreak. With iOS 10.3 about to drop as beta a few days from now on January 10, many feel this is the?perfect window for a 10.2 Jailbreak.
German security researcher, Stefan Esser, recently teased on Twitter that the iOS 10.2 jaibreak tool will roll out soon. He stated users unable to access Tedesco’s Yalu jailbreak need not worry because?he will release the iOS 10.2 Jailbreak tool. If this proves true, it will be the first time that two jailbreaks will roll out side by side.
Critics, however, aren?t impressed yet. They say Esser is simply stirring the jailbreak community given the jailbreak being not compatible with older versions of iPhone. In addition, there are also no updates of iOS 10.2 jailbreak from Team Pangu.
