Most of the time, we panic when our internet is down. So it would be better if we plan things to do during an internet downtime.
Listed below are some of the basic things to do when you are “unable to access internet“.?
PLAY GAMES OR LISTEN TO MUSIC
People normally tend to play games while they’re unable to access the internet. But for those who play online games, well…that will be an issue. If that’s the case, then try to listen to your favorite songs instead. Playing games and listening to music are, to me, ?the best option.
REPAIR YOUR PC
Many people don’t bother repairing their computers when they’re busy surfing the net. It would be a great idea to clean your PC during an internet downtime. Defrag your hard disk and check for errors, repair if ?you find any. Systematically manage your files. Uninstall or delete any unecessary software and files. Analyze and repair your system registry with the use of a registry software. This will certainly tune up your computer. Then check if your internet is up.
CLEAN COMPUTER PERIPHERALS
Do you remember when your mom used to say, “You use your computer regularly, you should also learn to tidy it up often.” and then you just ignore her? Yes, my fellow netizen, this would be the right time to clean those dirty mouse, keyboard, CPU case and any other computer peripherals. One of the best things to do while the internet is down.
SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY
If you have already finished those 3 tips above and your internet is still down, then try to spend some quality time with your family while you wait. Most internet surfers don’t spend valuable time with their siblings and parents. However, this doesn’t mean you should ignore them if you get your internet connection back. They’re the ones who pay your internet bills anyway.
GO OUT AND TAKE A WALK
Internet addicts tend to spend most of their time in front of a computer screen. When your beloved internet connection is down, a walk outside with your dog (if you have one) would be a nice idea.
Try to socialize with real people instead of your Facebook friends and Twitter followers, for a change.
Bonus Tip: If you decide to go for a walk, don’t forget to take your phone, tablet or laptop with you. For you may stumble upon a Wi-Fi hotspot.
