Injustice 2

Big Injustice 2 news has come from the San Diego Comic-Con. After an initial tease, Warner Bros has revealed the two new characters for the game’s roster: Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle. Making the reveal even more exciting is the fact that the game will be getting a prequel comic from original writer Tom Taylor.

Some fans might scoff at the fact that Wonder Woman is considered a ?new? character, since she was a prominent fighter in the first game, but like Superman and Batman before her, she has a new costume and a ton of different moves. The Amazon warrior might not be ?new,? but she will definitely feel that way when players use her in the fighting game.

Blue Beetle on the other hand is definitely new and a worthy addition to Injustice 2. The gameplay video shows that he is on Batman’s side and has a lot of cool moves that should be fun to execute in the game. Blue Beetle isn’t the biggest DC character, but he has appeared in a number of shows, including Smallville, Batman: Brave and the Bold and Young Justice.

These two join a pretty stacked roster that already contains Aquaman, Atrocitus, Batman, Flash, Gorilla Grodd, Superman and Supergirl. With more fighters soon to be announced, along with a couple of DLC characters that will come after the game has been launched, it?s clear that the sequel to Injustice is a fighting game to look out for.

Hollywood Reporter has also announced the return of Tom Taylor, who wrote the first few Injustice comics. He will be penning a prequel comic to this game, which should be fun to read. His foray into the Injustice comics has gotten critical acclaim, getting him writing gigs for Marvel and DC. He is currently writing All-New Wolverine for Marvel, which has also been praised by critics.

Injustice 2 will soon be available on PS4 and Xbox One. The current-gen fighter is slated for an unknown 2017 release, since an actual date hasn’t been revealed yet. The first Injustice is also available on current-gen consoles, along with last-gen ones and the PS Vita. ?
