NetherRealm Studios’ upcoming sequel to Injustice is shaping up to be another excellent fighting game for DC fans. The mobile version of Injustice 2 has been leaked several times recently and they aren’t coming to a stop yet. The most recent leak on the game reveals three other characters coming to the game and one of them is a new entry to the series.
YouTube channel Dynasty shared a new leak regarding Injustice 2 and it shows new characters and potentially the entire roster of the game. The three new characters are Joker, Green Arrow, and a newcomer to the series, Doctor Fate. It’s almost certain that these characters will be making their way to the console versions, and their reveals could come soon.
The codes seen from the mobile version show that the three characters are headed to the game. Both Joker and Green Arrow were part of the first game, so it’s no surprise to see them return. Doctor Fate, on the other hand, is a surprising new entry, and a few players might not be familiar with the character.
Doctor Fate’s powers rely on magic and he could be considered as the DC counterpart of Marvel’s Doctor Strange. It’s going to be pretty exciting to see how the hero plays out in the game.
Another leak apparently showed the full roster of the game but this is yet to be confirmed. The rumored full roster is as follows:
- Poison Ivy
- Black Canary
- Swamp Thing
- Hal Jordan
- John Stewart
- Green Arrow
- Captain Cold
- Damian Wayne
- Black Adam
- Doctor Fate
- Power Girl
- Mr. Freeze
Aside from this list, we also have to consider the other revealed characters including Batman, Supergirl, Superman, Gorilla Grodd, Blue Beetle, and many more. From the looks of things, it seems like the roster of Injustice 2 will be significantly larger than the first game.
Another discovery in the mobile version of Injustice 2 reveals that some special skins are coming to the game. There will be new CW skins for some of the characters and they could be for Flash, Supergirl, Green Arrow, and other CW stars.
Injustice 2 launches on May 16 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The mobile version of the game is currently in the beta state.
