NetherRealms Studios’ upcoming sequel to Injustice looks like it’s going to be an exciting fighting game that would be suited for DC comic and TV series fans alike. In the game, players are able to get their hands on some memorable characters and premiere skins. However, it seems like not all characters will be getting premiere skins as part of the Injustice 2 DLC plans.

NeatherRealm Studios’ Ed Boon recently revealed a few things about the Injustice 2 DLC and it could disappoint fans. Apparently, not every character in Injustice 2 will have premiere skins. We’ve yet to know who aren’t going to get premier skins, but we’re guessing less popular characters like Swamp Thing and Atrocitus and aren’t going to get any.

In Injustice 2, NetherRealm Studios will have premiere skins for some characters. The premier skins easily caught the attention of fans and future players as they somewhat add a new depth to the game. Premiere skins are different from regular skins as these add more than just a new look to characters.

Aside from new looks, Injustice 2 characters with premiere skins will have new voices and new dialogue lines as well. They’ll still retain the same moveset of the base character though but it’s still a pretty interesting take on skins and it’s something that players are looking forward to.

Hopefully, NetherRealm Studios adds premiere skins for many of the game’s characters and not just for a few handful of them. Even without premiere skins, players are still sure to enjoy customizing their characters with the Gear system.

For now, some of the characters with confirmed premiere skins are Supergirl, Flash and Green Lantern. With premiere skins, Supergirl will turn into Powergirl, Flash into Reverse-Flash and Green Lantern into the Jon Stewart Green Lantern. Players are also expecting  premiere skins for popular characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman and Aquaman. A recent trailer for the game also reveals that NetherRealm Studios might release a Mr. Freeze premiere skin for Captain Cold.

Aside from premiere skins, Injustice 2 is also rumored to have skins based off of the models from CW’s DC TV shows. If this is true, then we can expect CW skins for The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and a few others more. Moreover, players should also expect a few skins inspired by the DC Cinematic Universe in Injustice 2.
