Fans that didn’t pre-order NetherRealms’ fighting game are in luck, as the studio’s Injustice 2 DLC are available for purchase already. Darkseid and Fighter Pack 1 can now be purchased individually, along with in-game currency packages for a very early advantage. Players can even upgrade to the Ultimate Edition of the game, though they won’t be able to get the steelcase.

The PlayStation Store has all of the aforementioned DLC, so it’s safe to assume that it’s available for other systems. It’s interesting to note that the characters in Fighter Pack 1 aren’t playable, they can just be purchased in advance. Seems like NetherRealms will be keeping their promise about the game being jam-packed with DLC, for better or worse.

Everybody Has a Price

Players that didn’t pre-order the Injustice 2 DLC can get Darkseid for US$5.99, who has his own gear. Like the other characters, players can get gear for Darkseid by playing Multiverse mode or any other mode. The ruler of Apokalips might be pricey, but at least fans can get him right away without having to wait.

Red Hood, Starfire, and Sub-Zero are in Fighter Pack 1, so players that want them must pay US$19.99. This is so players can get them in advance, since the characters haven’t been released to the public yet. At US$19.99, these characters should feel different from the rest of the roster and have their own gear.

The Ultimate Edition

NetherRealms is giving players a chance to get the Ultimate Pack, which grants players access to all Injustice 2 DLC. Aside from all the Fighter Packs, this DLC Pack also gives instant access to the previously revealed Premiere Skins. These Premiere Skins are Green Lantern (John Stewart), Power Girl and Reverse-Flash, with more unlockable by playing the game.

For US$39.99, players can get the Ultimate Pack and buy all the DLC announced thus far. Sadly, while the Ultimate Pack does give players access to three Fighters Packs, Darkseid is not part of it. Unless the game was pre-ordered in advance, it looks like players will have to pay US$5.99.

Injustice 2 should be available today for the PS4 and Xbox One, so players can pick up their pre-orders. The mobile title is also available on iOS and Android devices, for those that don’t have current-gen consoles. DC has also released the 6th digital issue of the tie-in comic book.
