Injustice 2 Characters Leak: Grant Gustin To Voice The Flash, Richard Epcar As The Joker?

By on

Injustice 2 is currently slated for an unknown 2017 release, but fans are already excited. The first Injustice was a really fun title in the fighting game genre, and the second one looks even better, thanks to current-gen graphics and new characters. Fans are aware that The Flash will be in the game and that The Joker might be in it as well due to Harley Quinn’s appearance, but a possible leak might have just confirmed who their voice actors are, one of whom is pretty famous.

According to this YouTube user, the IMDB page of the Injustice sequel has listed Grant Gustin as the voice of The Flash, while Richard Epcar could be voicing Joker. Epcar did voice the ?Clown Prince of Crime? in the first Injustice, but having Gustin voice Flash is a huge deal, especially since he plays the character in the hit CW show.

He’s so good as The Flash, fans actually got mad when they found out he wouldn’t be playing the role in the upcoming Justice League film. Fans have since calmed down a bit, thanks to Ezra Miller’s short but sweet performance in the Justice League trailer, but a portion of fans still wish it was Gustin.

The YouTube user is quick to point out that IMDB is not the most reliable source, since almost anyone with a pro account can edit anything in there. The fact that Grant Gustin might be voicing the character he’s portrayed for a successful TV show is too good to be true, but it is something fans would love to see in Injustice 2.

To be fair, it’s not impossible. The first Injustice game had Stephen Amell do some voice work for Green Arrow, since he is portraying the character in the hit show Arrow. However, he only did it for the Arrow alternate character skin, while the other costumes had another voice actor. It’s possible that Gustin could voice the character, but he could also just voice an alternate skin based on the CW show.

Injustice 2 currently has no release date, but it will be coming out on PS4 and Xbox One. Expect plenty of DLC for the game.
