It looks like the roster of Injustice 2 will further expand soon as the developer has once again set a date for the next character reveal. The floor is open for a slew of DC’s characters and it’s hard to guess who we’re about to see next. Before the next Injustice 2 character reveal, it’s good to have a few characters in mind already.

NetherRealm Studios has set the date for the next Injustice 2 character reveal in the game’s official website. The new character will be revealed next week, April 28, so players have a lot to look forward to. The possibilities are big but there are a few characters that fans want to see in the next Injustice 2 character reveal.

Fans are uneasy with the thought of playing a game featuring Batman that doesn’t involve the Clown Prince of Crime. Surprisingly enough, NetherRealm Studios isn’t teasing anything about Joker’s appearance in Injustice 2. Ed Boon did tease the return of Batman’s nemesis, but based on what Boon has done with the Constantine tease before, it’s hard to believe him..

Fans would surely want to see Joker in the next game and this isn’t impossible. The Joker is one of the most popular DC characters ever and it wouldn’t be fitting for the Injustice 2 roster to not have him.

Red Hood/Arkham Knight

In an issue of the Injustice 2 comics, fans saw how Batman killed a few villains, which is very unlikely of him. Fans speculated that someone was framing Batman and that someone could be Jason Todd. This lead many to believe that Red Hood is going to be revealed for Injustice 2.

Todd is going to be an interesting character to have in the next game but aside from Red Hood, Todd’s other personality is the Arkham Knight. Since Arkham Knight isn’t a property of Rocksteady Studios, NetherRealm Studios could add him in the roster with a go-signal from DC. It’s also worth noting that Arkham Knight is a character in the Injustice mobile game. However, Arkham Knight could instead be a premiere skin for either Batman or Jason Todd/Red Hood considering the character isn’t a prominent as the others in the DC universe.

Guest Character

We wouldn’t be surprised if Injustice 2 has a guest character and fans want to see who it is soon. We could be getting a Mortal Kombat character like how Scorpion was made available in Injustice. Many are now wishing that the next character reveal will be made for the guest character.
