Pixar has plastered posters at the Disney D23 Expo for The Incredibles 2 but not much details about the movie was revealed. However, numerous rumors such as The Incredibles 2 release date and plot have surfaced online and will surely excite fans of the movie.

Release Date

According to VCPost, the sequel to the superhero family film will either hit theatres on November 22, 2017 or June 15, 2018. This is because Pixar has reserved the two dates for their upcoming movies, the report said.

According to i09, the Incredibles 2 plot may involve the immediately picking-up where the first movie ended to tell an engaging story on how the world deals with the new superheroes. Pixar may also choose to let time pass by, resulting in the characters to age.

Immediately continuing where the series left-off can create n largely impactful movie rife with drama, i09 reported. They said that ?a movie about the team finding their way in the wolrd? the first superhero family, complete with secret identities? is a very rich idea, one that could easily create some of that much needed drama?.

The Incredibles 2 may also choose to let the characters age. i09 said that it would be interesting to see how the kids would juggle school will taking on their role as superheroes where Violet is now a teenager, Dash in high school, while Jack Jack being now in elementary school. ?Do their friends know? Their boyfriends/girlfriends??

Same Lovable Characters

Whatever plot Pixar intends to pursue, it seems that we can expect the same lovable and compelling characters. Brad Bird will be returning to direct The Incredibles 2 and he says that he is excited about introducing the characters again for the movie. ?I really love those characters and that aspect of getting to be with them again is exciting to me,? Bird said as reported by Cross Map.

?I think that the greatest special effect is caring about a character. A lot of movies seems to forget that, and they bring out a lot of fireballs and then wonder why the fireballs don?t have that much impact, no matter how loud and how big they are. But the truth is that the fireball isn?t that exciting unless you care about the person running from it,? he said.
