Natsume’s Book of Friends?manga is making a statement after Hakusensha?s Lala magazine announced that its anime version has been renewed for its fifth season. According to the Anime News Network, the fifth season, Natsume Y?jin-Ch? Go will premiere this fall.
The storyline of Natsume?s Book of Friends talks about a young boy named Natsume. Natsume is a picture of a bereft young boy, because of his unusual characteristic of being able to see and interact with ghosts. Because of this, people shy away from him and even the ghosts he interacts with aren?t particularly fond of him.
Natsume will eventually acquire the ??Book of Friends? (Yujin-Cho) from his grandmother. The Yujin-Cho contains several ?contracts? that lets Natsumi?s grandmother trap these ghosts and hold them captive. Because of Natsume?s special power, he was able to help release the ghosts, despite others not welcoming his interference.
Natsume?s Book of Friends will lead him to the challenges of dodging unfriendly ghosts, while still trying to help them by freeing them from his grandmother?s contracts. The fifth season of the anime will be supported by the same team that worked on the series previous titles with Takahito Omori (Samurai Flamenco, Princess Jellyfish and Durarara!!) returning as the director.
Akira Takata (Hotarubi no Mori e, Haibane Renmei) will design the series? characters with Tatsuo Yamada (Samurai Flamenco, Durarara!!) designing the monster characters. The previous four seasons of the anime series has been streamed by Crunchyroll with Blu-ray discs and DVD copies of the complete four season released in North America.
Viz Media published Natsume’s Book of Friends?Volume 9 in North America in January and Hakusensha?s 20th volume of the manga will debut in Japan on the 9th of April. Find out more about Natsume?s adventure here, once the season starts. Are you looking forward to this one of kind anime series?
