HTC is likely to launch HTC Vive 2 very soon. Because it has unveiled Vive Studios as a major landmark in virtual reality technology.

HTC Vive Studios will be called as ?Arcade Saga?. It will publish the virtual reality content of HTC. It will also collaborate with external developers.

“We’re excited to formally unveil Vive Studios as a new pillar in HTC’s initiative to drive persistent growth for VR. Vive Studios’ aim is to nurture and discover development talent and help create content that will continually push the boundaries of the kinds of experiences VR can deliver,? said Joel Breton, VP of content at HTC Vive.

According to PRNewswire, HTC VR studio will create virtual reality content for games, education, design, social, real-estate and sports. HTC is all set to take the virtual reality technology to the next generation through HTC VR studio.

Multiple reports have claimed that HTC is likely to name HTC Vive 2 as ?Oasis?. Vive 2 will be packing room-scale technology. HTC will also increase the resolution. HTC Vive 2 will be having the brand new design.

HTC Vive 2 is likely to be a cordless device. The brand is collaborating with a Bulgarian firm named Quark VR to bring up the wireless device. HTC Vive 2 Virtual Reality headset will be able to give a tough competition to Oculus Rift which is getting ready to hit the market. In an interview, Raymond Pao the vice president for future technologies at HTC shared that HTC is confident about its plans for next Vive headset. ?He also revealed that HTC wants to bring changes in ?healthcare, commerce, socialization, and travel through VR technology. ?

?This is year one as far as this set of virtual reality experiences go. I think with the amount of innovation going on in the space and the amount of players coming into the space, I do think that innovation cycles will be sort of annual,? said Rikard Steiber, SVP of Virtual Reality at HTC. HTC vive was released in April with the price tag $799. HTC sold out more than 140 thousand headsets. ?
