The unannounced smartphone from HTC might be arriving sooner than you think.
A wave of leaked details and photos showing the new HTC One X9 which has not been announced to the public, and from the leaked information, this is one powerful smartphone. This could be HTC?s newest flagship phone to replace their HTC One A9. The leaked photo came from a Chinese microblogging site Weibo where it also mentions the specs for the HTC One X9.
According to the leak, it will be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and is fitted with BoomSound Speakers. Though still unconfirmed, the X9 might be having a larger resolution size, with 2560 x 1440 pixel display for the 5-inch screen, which is an upgrade from the 1920 x 1080 resolution from the A9. Aside from having a powerful processor, the X9 will also be sporting a 4GB RAM size and a 3,500mAh battery capacity.
Another leaked details was that the HTC One X9 will have a powerful 23-megapixel camera, and it could be sporting the sensor like the Sony Exmor sensor, and a 4-megapixel front camera. Though no details on what Android version the X9 will have at launch, but it is possible that it will have the Android Marshmallow available. Based on the leaked promo poster, it has the tagline ?Pack with city smarts?, which may be hinting some other features like fingerprint scanning, NFC feature and mobile payments, the A9 has a mobile payment feature, which makes it an obvious hint that the X9 will also have it.
However it is still unknown if the HTC One X9 will be available in the West, and from previous leaks, some high-end HTC smartphones were only made available in China, one example is the HTC One M9+ which was only available in Asia and some parts of Europe.
The HTC One X9 might be available on first quarter of 2016, though no details on the price and variants of the phone, we will get more updates once it becomes available.
