The HTC One M10 is one of the smartphones that has been highly anticipated by many tech enthusiasts. While many were expecting it to be launched during the Mobile World Congress 2016, the Taiwanese-based company has taken its sweet time and have kept the next HTC flagship smartphone under wraps. The recent reports have mentioned that the upcoming phone may no longer be known as the HTC One M10 but instead as the HTC 10 or M10 to make a change but is the new smartphone really worth all of the hype?
Well, from early rumors it is poised to be one of the best smartphones this year so the answer in my book is a resounding ?Yes?. According to a report from GSM Arena, the upcoming HTC 10 will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor which means that it will be ultra-fast for any task that will be performed. Helping boost its performance is 4GB of RAM and an internal store of 32GB but which can be expanded up to 200GB thanks to a microSD slot.
It is likewise rumored to have a 5.1-inch AMOLED display and will be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC?s Sense UI on top of it according to a report from AndroidPit. Probably one of the features which can separate the HTC M10 from other smartphones is its 12-megapixel UltraPixel camera. While many smartphones are simply increasing their megapixels, HTC decided to approach it a different way.
According to HTC Canada?s website, UltraPixel technology is ?an advanced imaging technology that allows you to quickly shoot vivid, true-to-life images with a wide range of colours, even in low light conditions.? This is definitely something that will make the HTC M10 a must-own device for mobile photographers.
