Leaked photos of the new HTC One A9 have been popping up online showing a dummy version of the phone from every possible angle that you could look at. Twitter account and serial tipster OnLeaks provided us with pictures of the HTC One A9 and some of the designs and features that we should expect once it comes out.
According to Tech Radar, the HTC One A9 will be entering the market with an Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system on board. So if you haven?t had the chance to experience Google?s latest operating system with an HTC phone, then you have to watch out for this device. The phone will come with six different colors to choose from so you can have a wider range of choices.
Previous reports about the HTC One A9 indicate that the device will come with a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC at 1.96 GHz which could make it the world?s most powerful smartphone but the recent leak have changed the specifications to an octa-core Snapdragon 617 CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 1080 x 1920 pixel 5-inch display which still makes it a fairly good phone.
Design of the new smartphone includes a curved aluminum unibody design with inlaid plastic lines for the antennas, a raised circular camera hump, and an oblong SIM and microSD card tray on the sides, the Verge reports. Overall it very much looks like an iPhone, but according to the Verge, ?the comparison is a bit unfair since it was HTC, not Apple, that first used plastic antenna channels embedded in an aluminum unibody design.? Fortunately there?s still no official announcement from HTC on whether or not the leaked photos of the HTC One A9 is real.
HTC will reveal their new flaghship phone at a scheduled press event on October 20.
