HTC is expected to launch two new devices, the HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle on September 20.
HTC posted videos on its social media accounts. Although HTC has not exactly mentioned what its posts are about, it did mention that it is ready to launch something new. ?Join us to see what’s new 8am BST at htc.com/launch,? one of the two videos explains.
Meanwhile, the tech enthusiasts believe that the company will finally launch its long rumored Desire 10 variants. The videos also confirm that the device will have a fingerprint reader on the back of the device. The live telecast of the launch will be available on HTC?s official website.
Rumor has it that HTC Pro will have a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a 1080×1920 screen resolution. The device will run on Snapdragon 617 processor accompanied by 3GB RAM. The device may have 32GB internal storage and external microSD support as well.
Both devices will be fitted with 13MP main and 5MP selfie shooter. The device is expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Soc with 2GB RAM. There are not a lot of details available on the specs of the Desire 10 Lifestyle at the moment. Fans will have to wait until HTC launches the device.
HTC Desire 10 will most probably run Android Marshmallow. However, customers can expect the Android Nougat update in future. The company recently confirmed that some of its devices will get the Nougat update. Hopefully, Desire 10 will be included in the devices to receive the Nougat update.
According to Recombu, HTC will launch launch the Desire 10 Pro with a price tag around ?250, which is approximately $325. The Lifestyle will be comparatively less expensive. Both devices are expected to hit the market by the end of September or in the beginning of October.
Meanwhile, HTC is reportedly working on two new handsets for Google, codenamed Marlin and Sailfish. The devices will be launched as Google Pixel and Pixel XL.
